The Pop Star Portrays a Hell Version of Herself in Satirical Film Teaser
Charli XCX is preparing for a substantial film onslaught in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.
In the film, she plays what she calls as a dark version of herself.
It’s the realest depiction of the music business that I’ve ever encountered, the star remarked.
She further explained in an interview: It’s not a tour documentary, yet the concept originated from the expectation to produce one.
A Glimpse into The Project
The first teaser, launched on Thursday, combines authentic footage from Charli’s Sweat tour with made-up backstage scenes.
The mockumentary is directed and co-written by her collaborator, who revealed that the narrative centers on a scenario where Charli opted for alternate decisions throughout the publicity of her hugely successful record Brat.
